Here’s Why Paying Tithe & First Fruit Is a Sin & It Cuts you off From Christ

Today I will be teaching on a very big topic, which is the way of life of many Christians ‘Tithing’. Before I proceed with my teaching on tithing, I will like you to first clear your mind off bias, sentiments, and personal ideology. My teaching will be based only on the scriptures as usual and not human ideology, as the Holy Spirit does not operate via human ideology, therefore, please get your bible close to you.

Majority of Christians believe tithing is God’s command and the way to attract God’s blessings. Pastors also encourage, lure, and force their congregations to pay tithe, telling them you are giving to God by paying your tithe. Even now, many Christians have been brainwashed, such that they now freely pay this compulsory tax in churches. I won’t blame anyone for this, it is because we have been taught in error for decades, but thank God I was able to makeup my mind to study the scriptures my self, and guess what? I found the truth, and I was free. Sorry to break your heart, if you pay tithe or first fruit, you have no portion in Christ, and you are toying with hell. This sounds harsh, yes, I know, but it is the truth. Let us now break it down by going into the scriptures.

Tithing and first fruit was part of the law given to Moses and other prophets, which the Pharisees also practised (Leviticus 27:30-34, Hebrews 7:5, Matthew 23:23). In total, there are over 600 laws before Jesus came, and Jesus fulfilled all these law by not sinning (1Peter 2:22) and also freed us from the law by dying on the cross because, cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree (Galatians 3:3, Romans 10:4, Romans 7: 4-6). Jesus also fulfilled the law by the love he showed us and by mandating us to do the same to others, and then he gave us a new commandment to love our neighbor as ourselves, because if you love, then you have fulfilled all the laws (Galatians 5:4, John 13:34). Now, since we are saved and brought to Christ through grace and not through the law, it means we cannot be made right with God through the law (Galatians 3:11, Galatians 2:16). If righteousness comes through the law by paying tithe and first fruit, what then is the essence of Christ’s death? (Galatians 2:21). Also, we received the Holy Spirit by grace and faith and not through the law (Galatians 3:2), what then is the profit of the law? The law if useless and fruitless! (Hebrews 7:19) and only makes you a slave of sin and makes you stumble (Romans 6:14). Abraham did not pay tithe to receive the blessing of God, he received it through faith, and we are also his seed through faith and not through the law (Galatians 3:1-29).

Now, if you obey the law by paying tithe and first fruit, then you are not under grace nor do you work with faith, you have no portion with Jesus, because it means His death and blood is in vain on you (Galatians 5:4). If you then choose to continue paying tithe and first fruit, then you have to obey all the laws in addition to tithe payment, because if you obey only one out of the laws, which is tithing, then you have broken all the > 600 laws in bible, and therefor you are cursed (Galatians 3:10). This clearly shows tithing is not part of Christianity, no wonder Jesus and the disciples never collected tithe nor first fruit! Why then will your pastor want you to pay tithe by quoting Malachi 3:8-10 to you just to scare you? Is Malachi greater than Jesus? Why should your pastor force you to obey the law Jesus already fulfilled?  He is either an antichrist or something else but definitely not a Christian. Some pastors would lure you by telling you Abraham paid tithe to Melchizedek- that is a lie!  Abram gave Melchizedek tithe and not Abraham. Abram was a common person that had no promise or encounter with God (Genesis 14:18-20). When he encountered God, his name changed to Abraham in Genesis 26, and then God made covenant with him, which means Abraham never paid tithe but Abram did-a man who has not known God yet. This is the same with Jacob, who became Israel, and Saul, who became Paul. Many pastors are liars from the pit of hell, using their human ideology to interpret the scriptures just to fill their pockets, and people are too lazy to study the scriptures themselves. In churches, every scripture in the bible has turn to giving money to the church. If you neglect the poor, the widow, the orphans, and other needy around you, and you are paying tithe, honestly, you are going to hell (Matthew 23:23, Matthew 25:32-46).

God will never stoop so low to make His kingdom buyable with tithing (money), all he needs from you is to love Him with the whole of your heart and love your neighbors. Also, pastors feast on their congregation, they are jobless and all they feed on is tithe and offerings of the poor, which they use in building mansions, flying private jets, sending their children to the best school etc. Tithing is a sin because it’s under the law, and offerings in church are meant to be distributed among the needy in church and not for the pastor’s pocket (Acts 4: 32-35). Pastors are meant to get a job to also feed the needy in church with their hard earned money just as Paul did, and Paul never bought a house he lived in a rented house (Acts 20:34, Acts 28:30, 1 Thessalonians 2:9). Do you also know that tithe is not money in the bible? It is food, such as farm produce but pastors also changed it to money just because of their greed. They are greedy, they lack understanding of the scriptures, they are misleading people, just like the Pharisees, they are forcing people to obey religious laws (tithing), which is not the way to the kingdom of God. They won’t make heaven and they are also blocking the gate to heaving by misleading congregation, making them twice they children of hell, which they are (Matthew 23:13). The bible is clear, Godliness is not a means to financial gain (1 Timothy 6:5), you don’t do work of God because you want to get rich or because you want to live comfortably, if that’s the case the disciples are meant to be rich, but they worked hard as well to help the needy. You don’t use the resources of the needy to finance massive church building, which God does not live in. God does not live in temples made with hands. we do not need church buildings in order for us to walk uprightly before God and to serve him, we are the church, you are the church (Acts 17:24, Acts 7:48). You, your wife, and your friends coming together to discuss the scripture on a coffee or in your dining, or anywhere is a church not the building! Why do we have five church buildings in a street, why do we have hundreds of thousands of church buildings in some countries? Why can’t there be only one church building in a community. I will teach on the essence of church building in another post.

So, dear reader, I hope this message opens your eyes to change what you’ve been doing wrong. If you want to give to God, give to the poor and needy – checkout my teaching on how to give to God, and you shall know the truth, which will make you free. I also encourage you to study your bible closely and you will be amazed how God will open your eyes. God has not evolved, so are his words, humans are the one evolving and turning the scriptures upside down.
